Unable to input Chinese characters in Tower of Eternity issue.
Cybercafe users are unable to type in Chinese while playing Tower of Eternity in the game.
"Troubleshooting approach:
Default configuration of the base package, removed marketing software, billing applications, and startup items, but the issue persists.
Using the Cybercafe Three Kingdoms Win10_21H2 F19 system package."
Solution:
Press Ctrl+Space and then try Ctrl+Shift to see if you can switch the input method. If that doesn't work, open the Task Manager and check if there's a 'ctfmon.exe' process running. If it's not there, you can run 'ctfmon.exe' manually. You can find it in C:\Windows\system32. Alternatively, you can add it to startup by creating a new string item in the registry at HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and set it to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe.
Note: I used the method provided in the link and adding Microsoft Pinyin input resolved the issue for me.
